Florence Frenza, 87, an area resident since 1977, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 at her home. A two-year resident at the Manor at Woodside, she formally lived in Hopewell Junction.
Born in New York City on January 25th 1925, she was the daughter of Salvatore and Rosalie Matarino Migliore. Florence had been employed as a comptometer for Esso Oil Company in Pelham Manor. As an artist, she loved to draw birds in the wild. Florence was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and a member of the East Fishkill Seniors.
Florence is survived by her sons and their wives, Christopher and Gloria Ann Frenza of Kerhonkson and Thomas and Rosemarie Frenza of Poughquag; her sisters, Mary Stocchetti of Brewster and Margaret Baglione of Pearl River; her grandchildren, Christopher Frenza and his wife Rebecca Litchfield, Nicole Frenza and her husband Steven Hoard, Michelle and Stephen Lamb, Paul Frenza; and her great-granddaughter, Alexandra Frenza. She was predeceased by her husband Isadore Frenza on August 27, 2009.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9-11 am at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 am at St Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
