Florence Smith's Obituary
Florence Ann Smith, 97, a Dutchess County resident for 30 years and previously of South Salem, died on December 16, 2021 at Putnam Hospital Center.
Born on June 9, 1924 in Jackson Heights, NY Florence was the daughter of Stanley and Stella Sobocha.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Robert Leo Smith in 1991.
Florence is survived by her children, Robert Smith, Jr. of Stormville, Scheryl Smith of Jacksonville FL, Stephen Smith (Kristina) of Stormville; her grandchildren, Christopher, Robin, Michael, Heather, Alexa, Colleen, Amanda, Jessica, Pamela & her 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9-11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
