Frances Mary Braham, a resident of Yorktown Heights since 1995 and formerly of Yonkers, passed away at home on Saturday, March 7, 2020. She was 93.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Colarusso) Grosso, she was born in Mount Vernon on August 15, 1926. For 30 years, Frances worked as an administrative assistant to the principal at Scarsdale Middle School. She enjoyed many hobbies, especially playing piano.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Braham, in 1987.
Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Wynne & her husband John of Fishkill; her son, Daniel Braham & his wife Susan of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Geoffrey Braham & his wife Katy, Christopher Wynne & his wife Pam, Gregory Braham & his wife Agnes, and Scott Wynne; her great-grandchildren, Evalena, Ethan, Peter, Charles, Victoria, and Daniel; her sister, Maria Romano; and many other loving relatives & friends.
In addition to her parents & husband, Frances was also predeceased by her grandson, Philip Wynne, in 2017.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
Interment will take place at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
