FISHKILL - Frances Rose Flory, 90, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1969 and formerly of Mahopac and Queens, died on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in Queens on May 11, 1920, she was the daughter of Gaspari and Antonina Catenzara Amato. On February 22, 1940 at St. Mary's Church in Flushing, Frances married Frank Joseph Flory who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Nazareth Flory and his wife Patricia of Wappingers Falls, Gasper "Jerry" Flory and his wife Prudence of Putnam Valley and Phyllis Mackin of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Narzareth and Diane Flory of Hopewell Jct., Frank and Christine Flory of Hopewell Jct., Nicole and Derek Kellogg of Amherst, MA, Gasper "Jerry" and Deborah Flory of Fishkill, Jamy and Christina Flory of Hopewell Jct., James and Monica Mackin of Hopewell Jct., and Lance and Staci Mackin of Poughkeepsie; and her great-grandchildren, Erin, Sophia, Isabella, Olivia, Maximus, Taylor, Gabriella, Gianna, Regina-Grace, Lily, Lucas, Cassidy, Madison, Lance and Cole. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, James Mackin and her siblings, Rosie, Mary, Salvatore, Sammy and Jimmy.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
