WAPPINGERS FALLS – Frances M. "Bubbles" Harden, 83, died on October 23, 2018 at home after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Born in the Bronx on September 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Florence (Schmidt) Cahn. In 1942, her dad was offered a job with the railroad in Hughsonville and moved his family to the area where they have since remained.

On January 30, 1956 in Wappingers Falls, Fran married Jacques Harden. Her husband of 62 years survives at home. Fran is also survived by her children, Scott Harden and his wife Karen of Fishkill and Jacqueline Harden and her partner, Mike Clocher of Poughkeepsie; her granddaughter, Amanda and her boyfriend Nick; her grandson, Ryan; and her sister, Marie Cahn of Indiana.

Fran loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed sharing stories with her children and grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-4 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
