Frances Charlotte Raimondo, born in Mount Vernon on February 1, 1934, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Fran lost her husband, Ralph Raimondo, only 68 days before, on December 22, 2015. They were married 58 years on February 15, 2016 - 13 days before her passing. Now that's a love story...

Fran was a fun, strong and industrious woman who worked at home as a typist while raising her children and was later employed as a secretary with Bayer Corporation in Tarrytown. She was a talented crafter, knitter, and a diehard New York Yankees fan. In her heyday, she was a great bowler and her Halloween costumes are legend. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her pride and joy, her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Gina and Brendan, Lisa and Peter, Laura and Edward; her grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher and Danielle; Crickett the wonder dog; and a large loving extended family.
