STORMVILLE - Francesco "Frank" Scozzari, a Stormville resident since 1965, formally of New Rochelle passed away peacefully at home on September 8th, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 92 years old.

Frank was born to the late John & Antoinette (Difatta) Esposito on April 3rd, 1934, in Sciara, Sicily. He emigrated from Sicily to the United States in 1954.

On October 12th, 1975, he married the love of his life, Dolores (Maietta), who predeceased him on November 9th, 2005.

Frank worked as a laborer in Local #60-Laborer's union in Hawthorne, NY until his retirement in 1994. He was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction for many years.

He was a man of many hobbies. He enjoyed bowling, tending to his garden, trips to the casino, hunting, and scratch-off tickets. He had a deep appreciation for all sorts of Italian music and was known to always have a cigar on him. Frank was often overjoyed when playing cards with his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his children, Antoinette "Toni" Rodriguez, Mary Rising, and Joann Tirone; his grandchildren, Francesca Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez Jr., Samantha Tirone (Kevin Herbst), Amanda Tirone (Christian Castillo), Martin Rising Jr., Anthony Rising, and Erik Rising; his great-grandchildren, Alina Graff, Daniel Graff Jr., Enzo Castillo; his siblings, Betty Carraturo, Joseph Esposito (Rita), Marie DiFranco, and Concetta Trusso; as well as many nieces & nephews.

There will be a visitation on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 4 to 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. The following morning on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columba Church at 10 am, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524.
