Obituary

HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Frank Thomas Cavaliere, 53, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2011, died on February 5, 2022 at MidHudson Regional Hospital. He previously lived in Montrose.

Frank was born in Yonkers on December 20, 1968. He had worked as a police dispatcher for the Greenburgh Police Department for over 28 years, and was loved and will be greatly missed by his entire police family.

Frank will be remembered as a devoted Christian who loved reading and studying the bible. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and liked watching the games with his son. He also enjoyed listening to his daughter sing and play the keyboard.

On November 27, 2006 in Cortlandt, he married Lisa (Chapman) Cavaliere who survives at home. He is also survived by his two beautiful children, Ashley (14) and Zackary (11); his parents, Frank and Marion (Fulton) Cavaliere; his sisters and their spouses, Debra and John Calabrese and Heather and Christopher Flaws; his mother-in-law, Tammy Hilmas and her husband Kenneth; and several nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his father-in-law, John Henry Chapman.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Hopewell Cemetery.
