He also had a great passion for model railroading and took immense pride in constructing intricate train layouts complete with detailed landscapes and scenery. In his later years, he discovered a new love for poker and became an enthusiastic player of Texas Hold'Em, regularly enjoying games and tournaments with family and friends.
Frank met Elaine on a blind date, and just eight months later, on February 9, 1957, they were married at St. Denis Church in Yonkers. They celebrated 69 years of marriage together. Elaine survives him at their home in Wappingers Falls.
He is also survived by his three sons: Kenneth F. Walsh (Barbara) of Elizabeth, New Jersey; Robert M. Walsh (Lisa) of Valatie, New York; and Thomas A. Walsh of Poughkeepsie, New York.
