WAPPINGERS FALLS - Frank A. Kozlowski, 80, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 38 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born in the Bronx on September 28, 1931, he was the son of the late Anthony and Maryanna Kozlowski. On May 17, 1958 in the Bronx, he married Mary Byrne. Mrs. Kozlowski survives at home.

Frank proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In 1997, Frank retired from General Motors in Tarrytown after 22 years of service. He was a parishioner at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Frank Kozlowski and his wife Josefina of Palmetto, GA, Robert Kozlowski and his wife Mary of Glendale, Christine Vasquez and her husband Juan of Wappingers Falls, Joseph Kozlowski and his wife Maria of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Dennis Kozlowski and his partner Natalie of Kingston, and Karen McCormack and her husband Paul of Glenham; his oldest grandson Jim Gilleo and 12 other grandchildren; his niece, Antoinette Ranita and her husband Jerry; and many other nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by Interment at Wappingers Rural Cemetery with military honors.
