FISHKILL – Frank Joseph Roberts, a long-time resident of Fishkill, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was 79.

Son of the late Peter and Rose (Guarino) Filocco, he was born in New York, NY, on December 29, 1943. He proudly served in the US Army from 1965-1972.

A parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill, Frank was also a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Mary's Council #4065. He was active in the Poughkeepsie Senior Softball League and very involved with the Fishkill Little League, where he coached the girls' team during the 1990's. Frank loved horses and cared for his own as well as others.

On November 8, 1975, he married Fran Teitelbaum in Queens, NY. Fran survives at home.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his daughter Debra Martins and her husband Jared of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Destiny, Jared and Jake; his sister, Corinne Tavolaccis; his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Harold Goldberg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

In addition to his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his sister, Nina Mari.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
