Russo
November 8, 1960 – February 24, 2025
Highland-Frank Charles Russo, 64 an area resident since 1990 and formerly of New Rochelle, passed away on February 24, 2025 at Westchester Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in New Rochelle on November 8, 1960, He was the son of the late Frank V. Russo and Winifred (Paramore) Russo. He also follows after his sister Judith Rivera Ortiz, and his nephew (Godson) Michael Colucci.
Frank was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction since 1997. Frank proudly served in the Military Police, National Guard, and then in the Navy. Frank also volunteered as a Den Leader with the Boy Scouts of America. Frank was also owner and operator of Dutchess Tool & Equipment in Milton.
Frank loved to go hunting and fishing, He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He enjoyed inventing things, and loved to read, and enjoyed his work.
Frank is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Peters) Russo; his sons, Frank Joseph Russo and Joseph Steven Russo; his siblings, Janet Goldsmith, Marie Russo, and Steven Russo; his nieces and nephews, Kacy Colucci (Godchild), Judy Merigliano (Godchild), Richard Goldsmith, Peter Goldsmith, Christopher Goldsmith (Godchild), Gina Trex (Godchild), Mary Goldsmith, Michael Tartaglione (Godchild), Jacqueline Peters (Godchild), and Richard Gilligan (Godchild); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joseph, Christina, Zelda, Xena, and Charlotte.
A Mass of Christian Memorial will be offered on Saturday, March 22nd at 11 :30 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Jct.
Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Smile Train, or to your local animal shelter.
