Obituary

PEEKSKILL - Frank Spinato, 83, a resident of Peekskill since 2006, passed away on February 24, 2025 at the Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park NY. He previously lived in the Bronx and New Rochelle.

Born in the Bronx on October 11, 1941, Frank was the son of the late Salvatore and Rose (Noto) Spinato. He was a gifted hairdresser who owned and operated Princess II Hair Salon in the Bronx, New Rochelle, then Nanuet.

Frank was an avid fan of the New York Giants. He enjoyed listening to music, eating out, and playing cards. He liked to watch old western movies, TV shows and was especially fond of Matlock.

He is survived by his life partner, Diane Bagdy; his children, Salvatore Spinato and his wife Suzanne Nardella; Dawn Cerutti and her husband William, along with Laura LiBassi; his grandchildren, Louise and Michael Nardella, Janae Spinato, Sarah, Caroline, Elizabeth Cerutti; Noelle and Lia LiBassi as well as other extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his former wife, Stella Spinato; and his brother, Daniel Spinato.

Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Saturday, March 8th from 1 - 4 pm with a service beginning at 4pm.
