Gabriel Ralph Pecorelli

FISHKILL- Gabriel Ralph Pecorelli, a Fishkill resident for over twenty years, formerly of Florida and the Bronx, died at home peacefully on August 4th, 2026. He was 91 years old.

He was born on April 29th, 1935, to the late Sam & Santina (Mostarda) Pecorelli. He grew up in Abruzzi, Italy. Gabriel would emigrate to the US when he was sixteen years old. He would go on to work for over 30 years as a Mechanic A, for Con Edison in the Bronx. He was an excellent employee who took great pride in his work.

Gabriel enjoyed many different sports but had a special affinity for boxing. He enjoyed going for walks when he could. He enjoyed cooking and was by all accounts a very good chef. He loved going on trips to many different destinations throughout his life.

 Most of all, he was a devoted husband. He loved taking care of his wife and putting her needs before his. He married his wife Jeanette (McAuley) in 1962. She predeceased Gabriel on August 5th, 2020.

Gabriel is survived by his children, Jeanne Pecorelli of the Bronx; Anthony Pecorelli of the Bronx; Diane Pecorelli of Mahopac; his grandchildren, Anthony & Samantha Pecorelli; Lorenzo & Christian Zefi; His beloved dog Aladdin.

Aside from his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his two sisters, Ester & Filomena.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am on Monday August 10, 2026, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Inurnment will follow in the Community Mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill.
