HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Gary G. Sidote, 70, a lifelong area resident, died on November 1, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Beacon on May 1, 1951, Gary was the son of the late George and Henrietta (Brilliant) Sidote. He had been employed as a plumber and maintenance man.

An avid outdoorsman, he especially liked fishing and hunting, and was a life member of the Whortlekill Rod and Gun Club in Hopewell Junction. He also enjoyed painting and shared his artwork with family and friends.

On May 17, 1986 in Wappingers Falls, Gary married Kathleen Devereaux who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Kristin Keller-Steigmeier of Jefferson, Kenneth Keller of Chadron, NE, and Kaitlin Sidote of Hopewell Junction; his grandchildren, Carlyn, Braden, Aislin, Carter, Hudson, and Ana; his sister, Donna Sidote-Ward; his niece, Vicki; and his great-niece, Ashley.
