HOLMES – Gayle O'Donnell, 75, died peacefully at her home on January 5, 2023.
Born in Hastings on April 26, 1947, Gayle was the daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline (Buckes) Landry. She retired as a manager of the White Plains distribution center of the United States Postal Service after 30+ years of service.
On November 4, 1967, she married William L. O'Donnell in Yonkers. Gayle and William were married for 49 years, and she always cherished spending time with him, especially taking trips to their favorite vacation spot on the west coast of Florida. She was predeceased by William in 2016.
Gayle was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Meredith Gazzetta, Laura Uva, and Carol Martin; her grandchildren, Taylor Gazzetta, Derek Gazzetta, Rocco Uva, Dylan Uva, and Max Martin; and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Thursday, January 12th from 5 – 8 pm with a funeral service beginning at 8 pm.
