STORMVILLE – Genevieve E. Mezzone, 92, a 32-year area resident and formerly of the Bronx, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel.

Mrs. Mezzone was a parishioner at St. Columba Church, Hopewell Junction. Born on May 24, 1923 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Hambrook. She married Joseph D. Mezzone on February 10, 1946, who predeceased her on August 3, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Castellitto and her husband, Gregory of Ellicott City, MD; a son, Joseph J. Mezzone and his wife, Joanne of Stormville; grandchildren, Michael Castellitto and his wife, Elisa of Phoenix, MD, Stephanie McAllister, Christina Mezzone, and Mark Mezzone; great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Courtney, and Mackenzie Anderson and Crosby Castellitto. She was predeceased by a sister, Edith Massett, and a brother, Wesley Hambrook.

Funeral arrangements will be a private family affair. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. Memorial donations may be made to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital (foundation.westchestermedicalcenter.com/make-a-gift) or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
