Georgianna J. Dunnigan, a four year resident of Fishkill and formerly of Westchester County, died at the home of her daughter on Easter Sunday, April 8th. She was 74.
Born in Peekskill on April 3, 1938, she was daughter of the late George and Jenny Galucci Pascale. She worked for many years as a Telephone Operator for Verizon until her retirement.
Georgianna is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Kelly & her husband John of Florida and Brenda Kopitov & her husband Walter of Fishkill; her five grandchildren, Angela Kelly of Florida, John Kelly & his wife Christina of Florida, Andrea Kelly of Florida, Danielle Delong of Fishkill and Brendan Delong of Pennsylvania; her great-grandson, Colin Kelly of Florida; her cousin, Michael Pascale, who was like a son to her; and her uncle, Sylvester Pascale of Beacon.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Bruce Dunnigan, in 2005.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Assumption, 131 Union Ave., Peekskill. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
