Geraldine Homyak, 82, a resident of Port St. Lucie for 18 years and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died peacefully on April 25, 2025 at her home.

Born in Yonkers on August 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Mary Bybel. Gerry had been employed as a secretary for Royal Carting for 25 years, and then worked for the Wappingers Central School District at Gayhead Elementary School. She had been a parishioner of St. Columba Church.

On May 4, 1963 in Yonkers, Gerry married the love of her life, Joseph Homyak, who predeceased her on March 9, 2016. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dawn and George Neidig, Dana Ludlum, and Joseph and Ximena Homyak; her grandchildren, Alexandra Neidig & Paul Renart, Derek Neidig and his wife Kylie Neidig, Annatje Ludlum, Maggie Ludlum, Logan Homyak, Natalia Homyak, and Lucas Homyak; and her great-granddaughter, Kensley Raine Neidig.
