FISHKILL - Geraldine Ledbetter, 73, died on January 30, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on June 24, 1944 in Laurinburg, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nora (Davis) Ledbetter. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Joyce Yizar of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Thomas Yizar, Jerel Yizar, and Ramona Yizar; her brother, Charles L. Ledbetter; her sister, Delores Reilly; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was also predeceased by her brother, Eddie Floyd Ledbetter; her sister, Mildred Owens and her husband Joseph; and her son-in-law, Ivan Yizar.

Geraldine liked exercising, especially doing aerobics and walking. She was devoted to the church and loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-11am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. The funeral service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
