Hopewell Junction - Ginette R. Ferrandi, 74, a resident of Dutchess County for the past 50 years, died on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.
The daughter of John and Jeannine (Vadurel) Ferrandi, Ginette was born on March 4, 1944 in Paris, France.
Ginette is survived by her mother, Jeannine Ferrandi of Eastchester, and her siblings, John Ferrandi, Denise and her husband Phil Saglimbeni, and Clifford and his wife Mary Ferrandi. She will always be remembered by her children, Paul and his wife Slavina Farley of El Paso, TX; Kristen and her husband James Brandemarte of Poughkeepsie; Jennifer and her husband Ernie Acampora of Wappingers Falls; Claudine Farley of Poughkeepsie; and Faith and her husband Jesse Doughty of Wappingers Falls. Her legacy will be carried on by her grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Lucas Acampora, Addisen Brandemarte, Justin Acampora, Skylar Brandemarte, Shane Brandemarte, Leah Doughty, Morgan Doughty, Gabriel Doughty, Reno Farley, Ginette-Marie Acampora, Kristi Farley and several nieces and nephews.
Ginette had a bubbly personality and was loved by all who knew her especially the fellow members of her crochet group.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 12 – 4 at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at 3:30pm at the funeral home.
