Gitta J. Miller passed away on January 29, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center at the age of 83. She was born in Potsdam, Berlin, Germany on June 3, 1941 to the late Alfred and Gerda Vohr.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the US Army in Mannheim, Germany.

Gitta was a member of the Germania Society in Poughkeepsie, as well as a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fishkill.

She is survived by her former husband Stanley Miller, as well as their son Mark Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 12 pm at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
