Gloria M. O'Dell, of Wappingers Falls, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 with her family by her side. She was 79.
Gloria was born on January 10, 1945 in Plattsburgh, NY to John and Vivian (Murray) Smith. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Haldane Central School District in Cold Spring, NY. Gloria loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On June 17, 1961, she married the love of her life, Clarence O'Dell. Clarence survives at home.
In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by her children, Jerry O'Dell (Shawn) of Nelsonville, NY, Teresa Loncaric (Chris) of Northampton, PA and Steven O'Dell (Marylou) of Wappingers Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Keli-anne Leonardo (Todd) of Hopewell Jct., NY, Nicole Desposito (Jesse) of Wappingers Falls, NY, Derek O'Dell (Julia) of Alfred, NY, Kaitlin Sandt (Keith) of Easton, PA, Jeremy Rickey (Dakota) of Northampton, PA, Ryan Rickey (Brittany) of Northampton, PA and Lauren Santrello (James) of Fishkill, NY; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services are private and under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY.
