STORMVILLE – Gloria Jane Ringler, 81, an area resident since 2004 and formerly of Mohegan Lake, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Hastings-on-Hudson on March 9, 1931, she was the daughter of Walter and Emma Sausciate Devenish. Gloria was a member of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.

On October 17, 1964 in Yonkers, Gloria married Robert E. Ringler who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Robert and Christine Ringler of Yorktown, Pam and Keith Davis of Stormville, Sandra and Bret Malone of Mohegan Lake; her sister, Betty Whalen of Catskill; her grandchildren, Christopher Fleissner, Lance, Neil and Shelby Malone, Madison Ringler; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter, Shaelynn, in 9 weeks. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Devenish.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
