AVALON, PA – Gloria Ann Sabatino, 88, died peacefully at home on August 25, 2022.

Born in New York City on March 3, 1934, Gloria was the daughter of the late Eward and Dorothy (Carson) Vogel. She worked for many years until her retirement in 1995.

Gloria is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary Ellen Evans of Avalon, PA, John and Doreen of PA, Kathleen of FL, Dorothy Ann and Tommy Petrellis of Hopewell Junction, NY, Tommy and Doreen of Atlanta, GA, Linda and Edwin Yip of FL, Danny and Ruth of Endicott, NY, and Bobby and Amelia of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren, Linda, Christina, Dylan, Lindsey, Michelle, Paul, Brenden, Vivian, Mallory, Melanie, Marci, Tyler, and Courtney; many great-grandchildren; her brothers, Edward Vogel and Tommy Vogel; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also predeceased by her daughter, Hope Gloria in 2002; her granddaughter, Melissa; and her sister, Dorothy Michael.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 3-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
