Gloria Jean Sorci passed away after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer on October 18, 2025, a few days after her 73rd birthday. She was born in the Bronx on October 12, 1952, to the late Enrico and Floria (Pierini) DiLullo.

She is survived by her son Wesley and his wife Summer, her daughter Nicole and her husband Ryan; her significant other David Hansen; her sisters Denise Davis, Susan DiLullo, and Laurie DiLullo; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Daniel DiLullo.

She spent 28 years working as the Computer Lab Teaching Assistant at Fishkill Elementary School, a job she loved. She retired in 2012.

A lifelong traveler, Gloria took dozens of trips around the country and abroad. Highlights include a lifelong dream to visit Mt. Rushmore and several trips to Italy. When she wasn't traveling, Gloria spent her time volunteering with Rolling Thunder, a local veterans organization. She also honed many creative talents, such as crafting, cooking, creating floral arrangements, and gardening.

No matter where she went, Gloria led with her faith and always put others first. She was a loving mother with a caring heart. Everyone she met gravitated toward her kind and warm spirit.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4-8 pm, with a Funeral Service at 7:30 pm at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11 am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9 Fishkill, NY.
