Obituary

HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Graciela Luna Hernandez Dionysius-Spera, best known as Shiela by her family and friends, regretfully passed away on October 27, 2016. Shiela was the loving wife of Robert Spera with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Shiela was born in Veracruz, Mexico on April 14, 1948. She was the youngest of 17 children born to Juan Luna Rafael and his wife Margarita Garcia Hernandez. She came to the U.S. when she was 16 years old.

Shiela was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Alan Dionysius. She lives on through her loving children, Rafael and his wife Kimberly Dionysius, George Dionysius, Jaford and his wife Ginamarie Dionysius, Deborah Dionysius, and Melissa Lane and her husband Wayne Berkley. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Shiela was a hardworking woman who worked at the 84 Diner for over 25 years. She also thought of her 84 Diner co-workers as her second family, especially Paul, Pat, George and David.
