Obituary

Harry V. Lattin, Jr., a resident of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away on February 2, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 87.

Harry was the son of the late Harry and Margaret Lattin. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on December 23, 1938. He attended Dutchess Community College where he received an AAS and Marist College where he received a BS in Business.

In 1960, Harry joined the Navy specializing in anti-submarine warfare. After proudly serving his country for 5 years, he was honorably discharged as a TM2.

After 34 years, he retired from IBM in 1999 as a Senior Programmer Manager. Prior to his retirement, he was an HR Systems Analyst, and held First and Second Line HR Manager positions

After his retirement, he relocated to Edinburg, NY, a small town nestled in the Adirondack Mountains located on Sacandaga Lake. He was an avid hunter and classic car and truck enthusiast. Harry served on several community and Catholic Church committees and was active in several local clubs. In 2018, he relocated to Saratoga Springs.

Harry is survived by his children, Lisa Jackson and her husband Sean of Poughkeepsie, NY, Lori Lattin of Virginia Beach, Va, Karen Ringwood of Valatie NY and Carol Merecka of Kingston NY. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Kevin Lattin.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery with military honors.
