Harry T. Rimmer, 40, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on September 2, 2025. He was born on January 29, 1985, in Manhattan, NY, to the late Thomas and Denise Rimmer.
Harry was raised with his sister in the Bronx by his single mother until her untimely death. When Harry was 15, he moved to New Jersey with his Aunt Deborah, Uncle Guy, and cousins Mike and Chris. Harry graduated New Providence High School.
He will be remembered as a family-oriented man whose love and care for those around him touched many lives. A devoted brother, uncle, and nephew, Harry especially cherished the time he spent helping to care for his nephew, who he affectionately called his Moochie. Known for his humor, charisma, and generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Harry was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Erin Rimmer, and her husband, Edward Mantell; his nephew, Edward Jr; his aunt and uncle, Deborah and Guy Conte; as well as many cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A memorial service will take place at 3:30 p.m. during the visitation.
