Harvey Sherman's Obituary
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Harvey E. Sherman, 82, a lifelong area resident, died on December 16, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Poughkeepsie on August 19, 1934, he was the son of Eber and Loretta Holsapple Sherman. Harvey proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as a cable splicer with Central Hudson Gas & Electric for 40 years until his retirement in 1995. Harvey was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
On May 11, 1958 in Poughkeepsie, Harvey married Barbara Townsend who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Todd Sherman and girlfriend Tammy Williams of Wappingers Falls; his daughter, Deborah Mangarillo of Wappingers Falls; his grandson, Christopher Burress; his great-grandson, Christopher Burress; his sister, Naomi Lee; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
