Obituary

Hazel Margaret Jaronczyk, 86, a resident of LaGrangeville since 1968 and formerly of Ossining, died on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Yonkers on April 27, 1928, Hazel was baptized, received her First Communion and was confirmed at Holy Eucharist Church in Yonkers. She was a member of the Fife & Drum Corps at Ben Franklin Junior High School and graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers. She was employed as an executive secretary to the vice president in charge of patents for RCA, and the as executive secretary for the DeBeers account at NW Ayers & Sons in Manhattan.
Hazel was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and was extremely devoted to the Blessed Mother, Divine Mercy, St. Anthony, St. Jude, St. Joseph and the Rosary. She attended many of the Altar Rosary Society events.
On November 10, 1962 at St. Casimir's Church in Yonkers, Hazel married Henry Peter Jaronczyk who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughter, Hazelmary Jaronczyk; and her cousins, Rose and Ray Wojciechowski and John Wojciechowski.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Thursday at 11am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
