Helen Barger's Obituary
Helen W. Barger, 72, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 12 years and formerly of Beacon for 20 years and Peekskill, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on April 10, 1938 in St. Pierre, Indiana, Helen was employed as a waitress at the 84 Diner in Fishkill for many years. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Manny Bacon Post, American Legion.
On February 14, 1962 in Hartford, CT, Helen married Charles E. Barger who predeceased her on March 15, 2008. She is survived by her children, Charles Barger Jr. of Hopewell Junction, Barbara DeGelarmo and her husband Anthony of Poughkeepsie and Vincent Harvey Jones of Pittsburgh, PA; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Jct.
