GLENHAM - Helen Grant, 96, a Fishkill resident since 2006, died on November 2, 2015 at the Wingate at Beacon. She previously lived in Spring Hill, FL for 20 years and Westchester County.

Born in Dublin, Ireland on May 31, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Cooney) O’Brien. She emigrated from Ireland to the United States in 1957 with her husband and daughters. Helen enjoyed knitting, sewing, and shopping.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen O’Reardon, Jean Oseroski, Pauline O’Reardon, and Barbara O’Reardon; her grandchildren, Paul, Nicole, and Michele; her great-grandchildren, Brooke, Liam, Tyler, Kaley, Samantha, and Sabrina; and her sister, Margaret Young. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas O’Reardon in 1968, her second husband, Eugene V. Grant in 2000; and 7 siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10-11 am at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A memorial service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Helen’s cremains will be interred at Florida National Cemetery.
