Helen (Helene) Emily Notaro, 80, passed away early Sunday July 27, 2025, following a brief health battle.

Helen's personality, will, and spirit was a force of nature like no other. Her keen sense of humor could leave you smirking, laughing, or even in tears. She lived a life entirely on her own terms and inspired those around her to do the same. Never one to shy away from speaking her mind, Helen brought honesty and vibrancy into every situation. She had a deep and abiding love for her family and friends. Her sharp wit, boundless love and unforgettable laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Helen was born to Wojcieck (Albert) Krok and Emilie (Emily) Czerniec Krok in Germany on August 23, 1944 all of Polish descent. Helen married Mario Notaro on November 16, 1963. They were deeply devoted to each other until his passing.

Helen is predeceased by her husband Mario, parents Wojcieck (Albert) and Emily (Emilie) Krok. She is survived by her sister Irene, nieces Kimberly and Rebecca, great nephew Christopher, great nieces Emily, Jacqueline, Lauren and several cousins.

Services will be at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill on Saturday, August 9th. Calling hours are from 10-11am, services start at 11. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY where Helen will be laid to rest.
