Helen V. O'Rorke, 96, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 6 years and formerly of Mamaroneck and New Rochelle, died on May 27, 2016 at her home.

Born in New Rochelle on January 13, 1920, she was the daughter of William and Clara Noll Stewart. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, William O'Rorke, who died on October 2, 1979.

Helen is survived by her children and their spouses, Virginia O'Rorke and Kuhrt Weineke of Stephentown, Patricia and Barry Schlenker of Gainesville, FL, Susan and Kevin Monaghan of New Fairfield, CT, Mary and Joseph Maselli of Hopewell Junction, Andrew and Laurie O'Rorke of Mamaroneck, and John O'Rorke of Frostburg, MD; her grandchildren, Devon and Matt Rinkin, Andrew Weineke, David and Leah Schlenker, Kristine Schlenker, Colleen, Maureen, William and Molly Monaghan, Joseph and Margrit Maselli, Tracy and John Slater, Heather Maselli, Kevin, Amy, Kimberly, and Kelly O'Rorke; and 12 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
