POUGHKEEPSIE – Helen Leona Perry, 65, a lifelong area resident, died on September 23, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center.

Born in Poughkeepsie on August 9, 1957, she was the daughter of Howard Dewitt and Helen Marie (Dennis) Beaton. Helen was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School. Throughout her career, she worked for several local business, retiring as a bookkeeper for St. Francis Hospital. She had a flair for home improvements and loved interior decorating.

On March 14, 1976 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Helen married the love of her life, Roland E. Perry. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is also survived by her daughter, Corinne Perry; her siblings, Clara Kirchner, Juanita Marshall and Howard Beaton; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gail Osterhoudt and George Johnson.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
