Helen C. Rosati, 85, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 47 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Victory Lake Nursing Center.
Born in Manhattan on February 7, 1926, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Martish Martinka. She was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
On March 7, 1948 at St. Mary's Church in the Bronx, Helen married James E. Rosati who died on October 26, 1997. She is survived by her daughters, Diane and Vivian Rosati of Hopewell Junction. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her daughters, Christine A. Rosati on June 27, 1996 and Linda Mae Rosati-Quarto on April 10, 2010; and her sisters, Mildred Ciampi and Agnes Bobesink.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
