WAPPINGERS FALLS – Helene Brown, 51, an area resident for 21 years, died on January 21, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a short illness. She previously lived in the Bronx.

Helene was born on October 28, 1965 in the Bronx. She is survived by her son, Michael Brown at home; her mother, Joan Kiernan at home; her sisters, Arlene Fuhst, Joan Brown, and Amanda Corcoran; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 – 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
