Henry Peter Jaronczyk, 88, of LaGrangeville, died on March 31, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center with his beloved daughter at his side.

Born in Yonkers on August 13, 1927, he was the son of Aleksander and Mary Kopec Jaronczyk. He was a graduate of St. Casimir's School, attended Saunders Trade School, and received his Masters Degree from Columbia University. He worked for many years as an Engineer at IBM in East Fishkill on the $64,000 question.

He was a reverent parishioner of St. Columba Church, and was extremely devoted to the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary, Divine Mercy, Blessed Mother, St. Anthony, St. Jude and St. Joseph. He was very musically inclined – playing the violin and singing. He loved classical music, as well as the music of Cole Porter including "All the Things You Are" and "Dream." He enjoyed going to the opera, theater and the movies. An avid fisherman, he also spent time gardening, woodworking, shopping, dancing, cooking, and doing arts and crafts. He liked sports, and was always faithful to the Giants and Yankees.

On November 10, 1962 at St. Casimir's Church in Yonkers, Henry married Hazel Duignan who predeceased him on August 10, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Hazelmary Jaronczyk; his cousins, Rose and Ray Wojciechowski, John Wojciechowski and Susan Bechtold who was also his God daughter; and many devoted friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
