Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our Holly Anne Doyle, 23, unexpectedly passed and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 26, 2024.

Born on September 6, 2001, Holly was a beloved daughter, sister and friend. She was a selfless woman whose impact will be forever felt by those who love her. Her effortless ability to laugh, love, forgive, and overcome leaves an unfillable gap in the hearts of her family.

Holly was adopted on September 24, 2018 to Michael and Rachel Doyle. She loved her family deeply and was often found with her siblings, playing games, sharing memes, or telling jokes. Holly took incredible pride in her role as a sister and leaves behind a rich legacy of unconditional love for not only her family, but everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

As an artist, Holly was very expressive. She loved music, art and poetry, and was known for her captivating writing. Holly will also be remembered by her quirky humor, and her continuous, contagious laughter.

Determined to make a difference, Holly was working towards earning a Bachelors in Social Work degree and was a student at Western Connecticut State University. She aspired to be a substance abuse/addiction recovery counselor.

Over the course of her short life, what will be remembered most is Holly's resiliency. Though she faced many obstacles, she had an unwavering ability to preserve through even the darkest of circumstances. Her life will serve as an inspiration and reminder to us all to keep fighting.

Holly accepted the Lord and was baptized on February 11, 2018. Though our hearts are heavy, we have peace in knowing she is home with her Savior.

Holly is survived by her parents, Michael and Rachel Doyle, and Gail Szala Nigro. She was also blessed with a loving family of many brothers and sisters who she leaves behind; Emily, Charlie, Marybeth and Orrin, Michael and Rylee, Madison, Matthew, Savannah, Sienna, Bentley, Chanel, Camden, Victoria, Holdyn, Dylan, Erianna, William, Camron, Kevin and Kenneth.
