Howard Francis Banney, age 80, passed away on January 5, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 20, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to Howard and Dorothea Banney (nee' Keilhurn).

Howard started his career at Western Publishing Company, where he worked for over 23 years before moving to IBM in East Fishkill where he worked as a technician. He was a big fan of Elvis Presley, and enjoyed collecting coins and learning all he could about archeology. In addition to these hobbies, Howard was also very interested in genealogy and even traced most of his family back as far as the 1300's.

Howard is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth "Beth" Banney (nee' Mulvihill); his dear children Howard (Lori) Banney, and Theresa (Bill) Molina; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas Charles Banney, Caitlyn Marie Banney, Thomas Elijah Banney, Samantha Grace Banney, and Alexander Cooper Molina; a brother: Gilbert Weitz (Marilyn); and nephews Charles, William and Ryan Weitz, as well as his first wife Judith Barth.
