Irma "Tandi" Kramer Malpica, 90, of Fishkill, NY, passed away on February 18, 2022. Irma was born on December 18, 1931 to Georg Kramer and Franziska Wiedenmann Kramer in Augsburg, Germany. After high school, as many young women did after the war, she was a housekeeper for the American Army Officers.
During her years in Germany, Irma met her spouse AJ "Deets" Malpica on a blind date. In 1953, she arrived in NYC on the SS Italia with her son Anthony; Irma and Deets went on to have another child, their daughter, Anita Malpica.
She was a "chock full o'nuts" coffee loving, hummingbird watching, cheesecake at Charlie Brown's eating, John Wayne and Ghost Stories watching, tough as nails and sweet as pie person to ever grace the blue seats of the New York Rangers.
Irma was predeceased by her loving husband, Deets and son, Anthony Malpica . She is survived by daughter Anita Malpica, her brother Johann Kramer and 4 grandchildren, Arielle, Cassandra, Teresa and Anthony, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, as well as 4 nephews and numerous cousins in Germany.
She was someone who would forever change the world and the people in it because she blessed it with her presence.
A service will be held at St. Mary Mother of the Church on March 3, 2022 at 10:00am.
