Dr. Ivan Rodriguez, 61, an area resident since 2001 and formerly of Brooklyn, died on May 25, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center following complications from COVID-19. Dr. Rodriguez had been working on the front lines during this pandemic.

Born in Brooklyn on April 27, 1959, he was the son of Francisco and Milagros (Estrella) Rodriguez. Dr. Rodriguez was a Physician at East New York Diagnostic Treatment Center in Brooklyn. He enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing, and biking, but he especially loved working on his property.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Isabel (Hernandez) Rodriguez; his son, Ivan Rodriguez Jr.; his sisters, Jane Pichardo, Nancy Jordan and Millie Cambria; his mother and father-in-law, Alicia and Nicholas Hernandez; his sister-in-law, Alice Hernandez; his brother-in-law, Nicholas Hernandez; and his nieces and nephews, Candeisa Jordan, Marsena Jordan, Felix Jordan Jr., Joel Pichardo, Timothy Pichardo, Michael Francisco Cambria, Jessica Carrero, Elizabeth Carrero, Maria Carrero and Karina Gaitan.

Private services will be held at this time for the immediate family. Interment will be in St. Denis Cemetery.
