Jack Dorler's Obituary
Jack A. Dorler, 74, a lifelong area resident, died on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Putnam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Manhattan on April 14, 1937, he was the son of Herbert and Marion Blair Dorler. He served in the US Navy and was employed as an engineer for IBM, East Fishkill for 30 years until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club.
He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Dorler of Wappingers Falls, Leslie MacConnell and her husband Mark of Hopewell Junction and Jille Dorler of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Naomi, Matthew and Zander; and his dear friends, Gerri, George and Danielle Pezzano.
Services will be private under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538. For online condolences and memorial donations, please visit www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.
