Obituary

Jaclyn J. Warner, of Fishkill, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 70.
She was born in Tarrytown on April 9, 1944. Jaclyn was raised in Hastings-on-Hudson and graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in Dobbs Ferry in 1962. On June 6, 1964, she married Richard M. Warner at Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church. They then moved to Tarrytown , where they remained until moving to Dutchess County in 1970.
From 1976 to 1979, they resided in Coral Springs, FL, where at the age of 33 Jaclyn enrolled in nursing school and achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. She dedicated many years to the healthcare field, most recently for Premier Medical Group (formerly New Century Medical Associates), where she worked for 14 years.
Along with her husband, she enjoyed classic cars and together they attended many car shows. She also loved to travel. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Jaclyn is survived by Richard, her husband of 50 years, at home. She is also survived by her daughter, Joy Rafferty & her husband Sean of Latham; her son, Rick Warner of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Matthew, Shannon, and Brendan Rafferty; her siblings, Eileen Conklin & her husband Bill of North Carolina, Robert Gilchrist of East Fishkill, Timothy Gilchrist of California, John Honovich, Jr. & his wife Rose of Dobbs Ferry, and Doreen Masopust & her husband Christopher of Montrose; also many other relatives & friends.
She was predeceased by her father, John Honovich; her mother, Nellie (Smith) Spellman; and her sister, Lois McGarr, who died in 1973.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 1 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
