Jacqueline Doris Allen, a resident of Fishkill, died on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 80.
Daughter of the late June Wolfe Allen, she was born in Rochester on August 3, 1936. She later relocated to Syracuse, where she remained up until 2004 and then moved to Dutchess County.
Jacqueline worked as a Vault Teller for Marine Midland Bank / H.S.B.C. in Syracuse for 17 years. She retired in 1999.
She was active with the Fishkill Senior Citizens, where she met many great friends. She also enjoyed playing Bingo as well as online poker.
She is survived by her longtime partner and fiancé, Artley R. Conklin, at home in Fishkill; her son, Command Sergeant Major Marc Hickey (USA, Ret.) of South Carolina; her son, Robert Allen & his wife Beth of Cazenovia, NY; her daughter, Melissa Allen & her partner Chi of Syracuse; nine grandchildren, William Hickey, Patrick Hickey, Marc Hickey, Sean Hickey, Robert Allen, Kailea Allen, Aaron LaMontagne & his wife Jade, Jolyn Allen, and Thomas Allen; and her great-grandchildren, Brenden Allen, London Allen, Aaron LaMontagne, Jr., and Aniya LaMontagne. She was looking forward to meeting her newest great-granddaughter in March.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
