August 19, 1954 – September 14, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the recent passing of James J. Carroll "Jimmy" of Fishkill, NY. James passed away peacefully at his home on September 14, 2023, at the age of 69.

James was born in Warwick, NY on August 19, 1954. He was the son of Charles J. and Muriel (Halpin) Carroll. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. James was employed as a Correction Officer at Green Haven Prison for 35 years before retiring in 2012. He was a lifelong dedicated New York Yankees fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed baseball, golfing, music, movies, and watching various sports. He took a special interest in his alluring Dodge Challenger.

He is survived by his two sons, Charles and James; his grandson, Charles Jr.; his two sisters, Kathleen and Nancy; as well as many cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Timothy Carroll.

The family wishes to grieve in private at this moment.
