POUGHQUAG - James "Jim" Renato Condina, 85, a resident of Poughquag since 2008 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel.
Born in New York City on October 31, 1926, he was the son of the late Valentino and Magdalena Rava Condina.
Jim received his MBA from Columbia University and was a Data Processor for Congress Talcott in New York City until his retirement in the late 1980's. He proudly served our country during WW II in the United States Navy.
Jim is survived by his sons, James Condina and his fiancee Maria Flores of West Lake Village, CA, Robert Condina and his wife Holly of Poughquag, and Gene Condina of Yonkers; his grandchildren, Christine, James, and Lauren; his brother, Aldo Condina of Yonkers; his sister-in-law, Nancy Condina of Ossining; his stepdaughter, Linda Rocco and her husband Frank of Pawling; and his dear friend, Tina Salvo. He was predeceased by his first wife Josephine Manzi, his second wife Lydia Luteri Machera, and his brother Val Condina.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 26th from 2 -6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 27th at 12 Noon at the funeral home with military honors. Entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale will take place on Wednesday, December 28th at 12 Noon.
