James J Greco, 73, a longtime resident of Dutchess County, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 31, 2021.

He was born on April 17, 1947 to Angelo and Ada Greco of Old Forge, PA where Jim grew up, attended Old Forge High School, played varsity football and graduated.

Jim spent most of his life in Dutchess County and worked as a programmer at IBM, retiring in 1995 but continued to work at IBM as a contractor.

Jim was a simple man with refined tastes, a love for fine music, good food, classic automobiles, motorcycle racing and loyal friends. He cherished spending time with his many friends and reminiscing about the old days, especially his times in Old Forge. He longed for the famous pizza there and spoke highly of his childhood friends Phil, Diane and Mike. Jim enjoyed his annual trips to Key West every year with his pals Pete, Steve, and Jimbo. Jim also climbed several mountains in the Western Hemisphere with his close friends John and Roger. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sister, Jody Greco of New York City.

Jim was cremated and no funeral services will he held but a memorial celebration of Jim's life to include Coor's Lite will be announced at a future time.
