James John Jenkins, 45, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident this past January.

He was born in Yonkers, NY on October 18, 1977. At the age of six, his family relocated to Wappingers Falls, NY. James attended Wappingers Central Schools and graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School.

His hobbies included playing pool, darts, and working on cars. He also loved bowling and was in a league with his sisters. James most recently worked as a flooring installer for Kenny's Carpet One in Carmel, NY.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Clarke Jenkins of White Plains, NY; his mother, Margaret Jaeger (Richard) of Pine Bush, NY; his father, James Jenkins (Judy) of Meriden, CT; his sisters, Joyce Sheehan and Kelly Jenkins; his nieces & nephews, Jean Marie Sheehan, Isabella Moguel, Alex Victoria, and Arturo Victoria; as well as many other relatives & friends.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 18 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m.
